Nolan John Bibb, born 1980 in Missoula, Montana, is a multifaceted artist. His creative endeavors include poetry, short fiction, lyrical content, visual art, and sound recording. Self-taught and unbounded by specific materials or mediums, Bibb draws inspiration from his diverse environments, splitting his time between California, Utah, and France.
Immersed in improvisation and spontaneity, Bibb's work reflects his surroundings, experiences, and incorporates the visual materials and/texts at his disposal. His printed works have been featured in F magazine, Swineherder, and the New Journal for American Poetry, as well as online journals such as NoMaterialism, Blazing Stadium, and Trilobite.bond.
In 2023, Bibb published his debut collection of poetry, "Abandoned Love Letters from the Uncompassionate," through New Books. His original (and in multiple) visual art books have been sold at venues such as 1909 Bookstore Paris, Mount Analog LA, Family Bookstore LA, Karma NYC, F Gallery Houston, and Printed Matter Book Fairs in LA & NYC.
